Hello and welcome to Big Love Studio! I'm Mackenzie.

I am a mixed media painter and writer living in Santa Fe, NM. My art practice is an extension of my spiritual and self-development practice. Working through transformative emotions and shifts in my life have always been of deep interest to me. I am curious about the layers that exist during these tender moments. In my painting and writing practice, I explore these layers which help me digest the emotions that come with each transition. 

I graduated with a BFA in Textiles from Rhode Island School of Design. My first solo show was at Tesner Gallery in 2013. My work has since shown at Bedford Gallery at Lesher Center for the Arts, Tesner Gallery, Rochester Contemporary Art Center and Wayne County Council for the Arts.
